TPG-LRC Plus

The main objective of the project TPG-LRC Plus - Fostering LRC implementation in the EHEA (TPG-LRC Plus) is to support the implementation of the Bologna Process focusing on the key commitment 2 on national legislation and procedures compliant with the Lisbon Recognition Convention (LRC) in the countries being part of the Thematic Peer Group B (TPG B).

The project activities, for which a peer-to-peer approach is adopted, are focused on the priorities set by the Tirana Communiqué, adopted in May 2024, and in continuity with the work carried out in the framework of the previous TPG-LRC and TPG-LRC CoRE projects. In this sense, the consortium focuses its activities on the “6 specific thematic directions” identified by the Bologna Follow-up Group (BFUG) and reaffirmed for the mandate of the Thematic Peer Group B (TPG B) for the period 2024 - 2027. Five TPG B meetings and four public seminars are destined to delve into these topics, which constitute then the main objects of the resulting project publications.

Special attention is given to the following topics:

o automatic recognition of qualifications and learning periods abroad.

o Flexible learning pathways and lifelong learning, including micro-credentials.

o Transnational cooperation in higher education and recognition of qualification awarded by transnational education institutions.

o Digital transition on higher education, supporting recognition of qualifications.
