Meetings & Seminars

The project runs for 36 months. 

 

The project supports the organisation of five TPG B meetings and four open seminars on automatic recognition, alternative pathways and micro-credentials, digitalisation and transnational education. Further staff mobility activities, implemented following a peer support approach, have been also planned.

 

Moreover, two Peer Learning Activities (PLAs) are scheduled in the framework of the project, which focus on the specific thematic indications of the Thematic Peer Group B (TPG B). More information about the activities of TPG B is available on the EHEA website. 

 

2nd TPG on LRC meeting

The second meeting of the TPG B aimed at stimulating reflection on how recognition support international mobility. The meeting represented the occasion to share data and information on international mobility from both a regional and a global perspective as well as to create synergies with other working structures of the BFUG. The second part of the meeting has been devoted to the exchange of information and good practices, drawing from the experience of different members’ countries.

3rd TPG on LRC meeting

Agenda and preparatory note

The third meeting of the TPG B was aimed at stimulating reflection on automatic recognition.
The meeting represented the occasion to present evidence on the implementation of automatic recognition from the latest monitoring report exercises, and to share the experiences at national level from TPG B members.
The second part of the meeting has been devoted to the discussion of the state of art of the TPG B workplan and to the launch of the mid-term TPG B monitoring survey. TPG B members has also been involved in breakout sessions discussions on the topic of recognition and artificial intelligence.

Seminar on automatic recognition “Automatic Recognition from policy to practice: mapping progress and exploring future developments”

Agenda of the seminar

The first TPG-LRC Plus public seminar aimed at stimulating reflection on automatic recognition.

The seminar focused on presenting:

  • first-hand updates from the latest European and international policy developments in the field of qualifications recognition;
  • experiences from higher education institutions in EHEA countries;
  • the most recent tools, databases, and initiatives at international and national level.
The event involved participants interested in qualifications recognition, especially the staff of higher education institutions, of ENIC-NARIC centres and experts in higher education. The seminar was held in English, and was the occasion to stay informed, share expertise, and connect with colleagues both at regional and international level.
