3DPRISM - 3D Printing Skills for Manufacturing

The 3DPRISM project aims to support VET provision on 3D printing skills with guidelines, resources, OERs and a hands-on training methodology. Furthermore, it aims to identity new occupational profiles in the manufacturing sector, to facilitate & accelerate the integration of new skills and qualifications in VET. Lastly, one of the main objectives is to contribute to the implementation of EU policies on qualifications, transparency, mobility and a European industrial renaissance, creating secure & sustainable jobs.

APPSKIL - European ICT Sector Skills Alliance - VET open course for mobile apps creators

The AppSkil project forms the European ICT Sector Skills Alliance, which aims at improving the level and quality of education, skills and employment in the mobile apps industry by anticipating the future skills needs and responding to shortage of skilled workers. CIMEA was a partner in the project and participated in the development of the activities and the final results.

ARISA - The Artificial Intelligence Skills Alliance

ARISA supports the implementation of the Pact for Skills by developing a sectoral skills strategy on Artificial Intelligence (AI). This strategy aims to lead to a systemic and structural impact on reducing skills shortages, gaps, and mismatches, as well as ensuring appropriate quality and levels of skills in the AI sector. The overarching goal of the project is to develop local ecosystems to support the upskilling and reskilling of the workforce with direct engagement of local communities in order to build a human-centred and socially driven AI.

ASSETs+: Alliance For Strategic Skills Addressing Emerging Technologies In Defence

The project aims to build and develop a sustainable human resources supply chain which allows the defence sector to innovate by both attracting highly-skilled young workers and upskilling their employees thanks to customised, complementary education & training programmes addressing these main technologies: Robotics/Autonomous Systems/Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and C4ISTAR. CIMEA is a partner project and participates in the development of activities and final results.

CHAISE - A Blueprint for Sectoral Cooperation on Blockchain Skill Cooperation

The project focuses on setting forward an open, inclusive blockchain skills governance system, with the aim of developing a strategic approach to blockchain skills development for Europe. Furthermore, the project aims to deliver future-proof training solutions, in order to tackle blockchain skill shortages and to respond to the current and future sectoral needs.

ECS Academy – European Chips Skills Academy

The project has the objective to create an Alliance between the educational and training systems (HE and VET) and the microelectronics industry to support the growth and innovation of the European microelectronics ecosystem and to bridge in the skills mismatch in the European workforce. CIMEA, as leader of the Quality Assurance, is responsible for overlooking the overall quality of project and monitoring the impact of the project results.

METIS - MicroElectronics Training, Industry and Skills

The project aims to develop a strategy for sectoral skills in the field of microelectronics to help meet the respective demand and supply, thanks to a methodology which evaluates, predicts and monitors the evolution of relevant skills and professions in this field. Furthermore, it aims to define and perfect professional profiles based on existing competence frameworks and the ESCO classification system of competences, qualifications and professions. METIS will also address the gender dimension of employability in the sector, bridging the gender gap. What’s more, it aspires to ensure a lasting impact and support the results of the project beyond EU co-financing, through the establishment of the Microelectronic Observatory and the Council of Competences. CIMEA is a partner project and participates in the development of activities and final results.
