BASE - Bologna for Science Education in Palestine and Jordan

November 2024 - October 2027

Implement Bologna Process in science programs in the Palestinian and Jordan partner universities' scientific programs. The project will use Bologna standards and tools to develop new curricula in partnership with the European universities involved in the project.

CHEER I e II - Consolidating Higher Education Experience of Reform: norms, networks and good practice in Italy

Consolidate, at an Italian level, reforms relating to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), through a series of thematic seminars in which universities and AFAM institutions can convene in order to discuss and debate the principal aspects relative to system innovation and learning itineraries from an international attractiveness stance. CIMEA participates in the development of the activities and the final results.

MEETALY – ENIC-NARIC Annual Joint Meeting 2024

January 2023 - December 2024 

Support the organization of the ENIC-NARIC Joint Meeting, which will be held in Naples, Italy, in 2024. The most important event of the year to promote the cooperation between the ENIC-NARIC centres and the engaged stakeholders: students, HEIs, quality assurance agencies, national authorities and other networks. This meeting represents an opportunity to give exposure to political initiatives, to urgent themes related to higher education, to useful recognition tools developed in the project framework.

MERIC-net - Mediterranean Network of National Information Centres on the Recognition of Qualifications

October 2016 - October 2019

Revitalise and strengthen the MERIC (Mediterranean Recognition Information Centres) centres network through the contribution of European universities and ENIC-NARIC centres, as well as the support of the Algerian, Lebanese, Moroccan and Tunisian ministries. The MERIC-net project also aims to produce country profiles of the partner systems, useful for all qualification evaluators at a global level. CIMEA participates in the conceptualisation of the project of which it is also a partner. Additionally, CIMEA participates in the development of the activities and the production of final results.

MICROCASA – MICRO-credentials for lifelong learning and employability: Building Capacities for developing Agile educational interventions in Southeast Asian Universities

March 2023 - Ongoing

Promote the development, co-design and delivery of short courses with digital micro-credentials to support innovation in the higher education system in the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia through capacity building in national HEIs. The project has the ambition to ensure a systematic impact on ASEAN countries.

Micro-GEAR – Micro-credentials Higher Education system of Georgia and Armenia: South Caucasus lighthouse project

January 2024 - Ongoing

Support structural reforms in the higher education sector of the South Caucasus region, primarily focusing on Georgia and Armenia, to facilitate the proliferation of micro-credentials as a tool for improving relevance, quality and flexibility of higher education. CIMEA is leading the activities related to the fostering of the dialogue on standardization and mutual recognition of micro-credentials among the two countries.

RecoASIA – Regional Cooperation in the field of recognition among Asian countries

November 2019 - November 2022

Create and strengthen structures and tools useful for the recognition of foreign qualifications in Cambodia, Mongolia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Thailand through the contribution of European universities and ENIC-NARIC centres along with associated partners from China, Japan, the Republic of Korea and the UNESCO office in Bangkok. The RecoASIA project also aims to create country profiles of the partner systems, as a useful tool for qualification evaluators at a global level. CIMEA conceptualised and coordinates the project jointly with the University of L'Aquila.

RecoLATIN: Credential evaluation centres and recognition procedure in Latin American Countries

October 2016 - October 2019

Create and strengthen structures and tools to help with foreign qualification recognition in Panama, Mexico and Uruguay with the contribution of European universities and ENIC-NARIC centres. The RecoLATIN project additionally aims to produce country profiles of the partner systems, useful for all qualification evaluators at a global level. CIMEA conceptualised and coordinated the project jointly with the Conference of Italian University Deans – CRUI.
